2023. On 27 June, Sára Boncsér and Orsolya Temesvári held a great workshop in the Magnet Community House, where participants could get a taste of the secrets of speaking in front of others.

With the help of our experienced trainers, participants learned in an interactive and safe environment how to speak effectively in front of others (even in public) and what to avoid.

Although these situations are challenging for many, and there was a very diverse group of people in the room with special needs, everyone was enthusiastic and focused on each other, and on the interactive tasks and learning. Among other things, the participants expressed what they would like to improve, discussed different topics in pairs and small groups, and introduced themselves as superheroes to the others.

Fatime Ozsvát described the experience of participating in the workshop:

Shortly before the workshop was announced, I thought about how I would like to overcome my fear of public speaking. And when I saw the opportunity, I thought: Wow, this is no coincidence, this is a God-given opportunity.

I was a little apprehensive when I applied, but I didn’t regret it. I had to step out of my comfort zone. The workshop was a super experience for me. I have seen that, like me, many people are afraid to speak in public. I felt understood and we quickly found common ground. I think I have reached a new level. Level up! Participants are to be congratulated for their courage. And a big thank you to the organisers. I warmly recommend all interested parties to participate in the next such event.
