A Remote Assistant virtual office and the Skilly is launching a financial administration training course specifically for people with disabilities and people with reduced working capacity. Business administration, office management, finance, HR – the knowledge we can provide is needed in many areas of business.

What exactly does this versatile job cover, what does a financial administrator do?

  • Depending on the size of the company or its culture, the tasks associated with the job of a financial administrator or financial assistant can cover several areas – be it a business administration team, finance department, office management or even HR in some cases.
  • The financial administrator is responsible for preparing the invoices related to the company’s operations, checking and approving the invoices received by the company, and in many cases also performs a kind of accounting preparation.
  • In the case of service providers, other administrative tasks related to subscriptions and service packages – processing worksheets, monitoring contract expiry dates, etc.
  • The financial administrator may also be involved in writing and managing contracts, managing accounts receivable, or even investigating invoice complaints from customers/customers.
  • It is a versatile job, working closely with several departments in larger organisations, e.g. accounting, sales, purchasing, logistics or even project management.

The content of the workshop:

  • during the workshop you will learn about all the types of invoices related to the activity and their correct application;
  • you will get to know and understand the main points of the VAT Act and the operation and purpose of the NAV data reporting;
  • you’ll see how this area relates to the organisation as a whole, where and how we can help our partner departments;
  • you will learn the process of effective receivables management;
  • you will understand the expectations of accountants, so you can prepare their work more effectively;
  • look at the main reporting systems related to the financial area

We’re looking for you if

  • you are an adult with a disability (aged between 18 and 45, women are particularly welcome);
  • I’m interested in finance;
  • you have good communication skills in writing;
  • you like to work independently and proactively;
  • you have a process-oriented, rule-following mindset;
  • analytical approach, good problem-solving skills;
  • you are empathetic, flexible, curious and have good problem-solving skills;
  • you are committed to following through with the programme;
  • you can imagine working in this field.

The language of the training is Hungarian, however, in our experience, a basic knowledge of English is an advantage for successful employment after the training.

Application process:

Two rounds recruitment process you can expect:

  • interview with the Skilly team
  • a short test on basic financial and Excel skills

If we like your application and you have convinced us of your suitability and motivation, we will select you for the workshop and you can start learning!

In case of oversubscription, the strongest candidates will be selected on the basis of the written application, the interview and the test task.

  • Location: online opportunities on Zoom
  • Number of participants: max. 12 persons
  • Participation fee: 40.000 forints (scholarship places are available on an equitable basis)
  • Accessibility:
    • Sign language interpreter
    • Individualised accessibility on request
    • We also welcome applications from visually impaired participants, and the training will be accessible to them, but it is important to highlight that our experience shows that financial admin jobs are currently less accessible for visually impaired workers.
