Career4all Train the Trainer Academy is part of the Erasmus+ programme, which supports education, training, youth and sport in Europe. This is a joint initiative of the Austrian, Bulgarian and Hungarian Jamba organisations.
The project aims to build the capacity of education professionals and staff to provide career guidance to young people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The cooperation aims to promote equity, support equal access to vocational training programmes and create more opportunities for career development and social inclusion.
Jamba teams will use successful European practices to support people’s education, training and employment. Participants are expected to pass on the knowledge they have acquired to their students.
The programme is designed for a wide range of participants:
- IMAGINATORS (including trainers with disabilities) aged 18 to 45 who would like to learn how to support their clients with disabilities and chronic illnesses who work with young people and/or have a role in youth policy implementation or youth care management; and
- People aged between 18 and 29, with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
Based on the experience gained during the project, Jamba will produce a single framework – a toolkit and guidelines – which will be available online after the programme for anyone who wants to learn more and who would like to start working in the field.
