Be a mentor to a future software tester!

Olyan önkéntes mentorok jelentkezését várjuk akik szívesen támogatják a jelenleg zajló szoftvertesztelő workshopunk résztvevőit egyéni karriercéljaik elérésében. 

Kiket keresünk? 

Olyan önkéntesek jelentkezését várjuk, akik: 

    • work or study in the field of HR and/or IT
    • They would be happy to support a jobseeker with a disability interested in IT to successfully find a job in the open labour market
    • They are happy to volunteer an average of 2 hours per week from mid-May to the end of June
    • A kiválasztás folyamata 

        • To apply to be a mentor
          online application form
          by filling in the online application form until 11 May 2023.
        • Individual interviews: after the application deadline, selected applicants will be invited to an online interview to get to know each other better
        • Mentor Training: to become a mentor, you must attend a mentor training course, with a planned date: 2023. 17 May. 18:00-21:00, in an accessible location in the centre of Budapest. An interactive workshop will be held to train volunteer mentors (e.g. through case discussions), to explain in more detail the objectives, framework, process and approach of the Mentoring Programme and Jamba; and to share tools that can be used in mentoring.
        • Selection of mentors: after the training, 8 mentors will be selected for the programme: we will be able to work with mentors whose individual skills and personality profile best match the goals of one of the participants in the software testing workshop.
        • A mentorálás folyamata

            • First mentor-mentee meeting: where you will be introduced to a potential mentor and together we will discuss your individual goals and how you would like to plan the 6 mentoring sessions, if you both decide that you would like to work together;
            • From the end of May: the 6-session mentoring process starts – sessions based on individual needs;
            • Ongoing feedback on your mentoring: after each mentoring session, you can give us feedback online on how your mentoring is going, and we’ll provide ongoing professional support throughout your work;
            • Group supervision for mentors
            • A final discussion with the mentor and with us, feedback on the programme.
